Let’s face it, a little “America” can go a long way. Top image is a Hatch Show print from the 1950′s and in real life is a whopping 78” x 26”!! The bottom poster is a limited edition of woodblock prints on topographic maps by Best Made.

I might be living under a rock, but I just discovered this amazing illustrator, designer and hand-letterer- Grady McFerrin. Looking through his portfolio, it was hard not to post EVERYTHING. Love, love, love his work.

WOW! We were beyond thrilled yesterday to wake up to emails and texts saying we were featured on Design*Sponge! How fun!

The lovely ladies over at Ladyfingers Letterpress make some beautiful work. They are very talented at hand-lettering type and I love their creative and whimsical style.
On an awesome side note- every order placed 10% is donated to the Human Rights Campaign!

Gwen Frostic is a Michigan staple when it comes to letterpress. I got to visit her rustic studio/shop last week, and I could buy pretty much everything in there. Even her gift wrap is simple and sweet.

I came across this somehow, and I LOVE the simple design and fonts. Cathy seems like a cool lady.

I need these.

These would pack a punch for gift-giving.

In serious love with this designer. Everything she creates is just genius.

Based out of Toronto, Canada, Margaret Rankin creates these amazing block prints for her shop magprint. She cuts each block by hand and uses a bamboo ladle to press. I’d happily buy all of them if I could.

We are so excited to welcome Ruby to our press family! Sven was a little lonely, but Ruby is sure to cheer him up. Westmont College here in Santa Barbara generously placed Ruby in our hands when they knew she was in need of some love, and we couldn’t have been more excited to give her a make-over. A huge thank you to our friend Pack for making this happen. See photos of the incredible process below. Pack is a genius, having to disassemble and reassemble the entire press. Did we mention he’s never done this before? He even baked new rollers – yes, we just said baked. We love the new wooden paper tray and Ruby’s fresh, youthful glow. WOW. Our jaws are still dropped. Let’s get to pressin’.

The second I saw the amazing succulent artwork that makelike churns out, I melted!  I daydream about one day covering one of my walls with the pointy cactus wallpaper.
